Tawharanui (pronounced Tafaranooey) is one of the reasons why we now live in NZ. We came here at the end of our trip last year and it totally captured our hearts.
We left last time, saying goodbye but knowing we would be back. And here we are. It could have been like one of those holiday places that’s best left to memory as often they are never as good the second time around, but Tawharanui didn’t disappoint.
We were excited as we drove the long twisty gravel road down to the reserve and as we drove through the gates it’s felt awesome to be back.
The light wasn’t so great for photos today so I’ve over relied on editing. Still we will be back lots so I’ll have lots of chances to get the perfect pics.
